BEIJING, Aug. 23 (Xinhua) -- A report on China’s top ten smart sensor industrial parks for 2022 was released at the 2022 World Sensors Summit, which started on August 21 in Zhengzhou, central China's Henan Province.
The report, compiled by the China Center for Information Industry Development, incorporates three primary dimensions and 15 secondary indicators to evaluate the comprehensive performance of smart sensor industrial parks in China.
According to the report, Suzhou industrial park, Shanghai Jiading District, and Wuxi high-tech zone are among the top three smart sensor industrial parks in the country. Zhengzhou High-tech Zone comes fourth in the ranking with an overall score of 64.8 points.
Liu Wenqiang, head of the China Center for Information Industry Development, said that China has attached great importance to the development of the smart sensor industry and local governments have introduced a set of measures such as the release of sensor industry development plans and the construction of special industrial parks and bases to actively lay out intelligent sensor industry.
The 2022 World Sensors Summit was co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the China Association for Science and Technology, and the People's Government of Henan Province.
