BEIJING, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- Live-streaming e-commerce is fast becoming a new driving force for rural revitalization in Alashan, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
A live-streaming e-commerce event featuring rare stones was held in Alashan. The event helped local herders in Alashan sell their rare stones to consumers across the country. About 600,000 yuan worth of goods were sold during the event.
By now, Alashan League has built four live-streaming business bases, and strived to actively guide the local live-streaming e-commerce platforms and individuals to conduct live-streaming activities in a bid to bring consumers even closer to Alashan’s special products with local characteristics.
It is learned that a total of 16 enterprises have settled down in the live-streaming e-commerce bases, with the total network transactions of 653 million yuan in the first half of 2022.(Edited by Yang Yifan with Xinhua Silk Road, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
