BEIJING, July 6 (Xinhua) -- Northeast China's Liaoning Provincehas operated a total of 162 China-Europe freight trains in the first half of this year, a year-on-year increase of 17.4percent, which has reached a record high for the same period in history, according to China Railway Shenyang Group.
Since this year, Liaoning Province has made good use of the platform and channel of China-Europe freight trains to provide enterprises with personalized and customized services, carrying goods including auto parts, mechanical and electrical equipment, daily provisions and chemical products.
At present, the China-Europe freight trains in Liaoning take Shenyang and Dalian as the main nodes of shipment and have served nearly 500 enterprises in the province including BMW Brilliance, Michelin, Northeast Pharm in import and export trade. The goods directly arrive in more than 300 overseas terminals in 17 countries.
In addition, Liaoning is constantly developing new types of international combined transport services. In the first half of 2022, the province has launched the first freight train of China-Laos railway in Northeast China and the first Central Asia train in Liaoning, effectively building new efficient, economic, safe and convenient international logistics channels.
