BEIJING, June 16 (Xinhua) -- The State Grid Shandong Electric Power Company, a subsidiary of China's state-owned grid operator State Grid Cooperation of China, beefed up efforts to promote green electricity supplies in rural areas and vigorously advance rural modernization.
The company built two 60-kilowatt DC and thirty 7-kilowatt AC electric vehicle charging piles and a 40-kilowatt rooftop photovoltaic power station in Sanjianxi village, Zhangqiu district in Jinan, capital of east China's Shandong Province.
To realize the electrification, low carbonization and intelligence of rural energy consumption, State Grid Shandong Electric Power has built a complementary energy supply and perception system, which integrates grid power supply, photovoltaic power generation, and battery energy storage power supply.
The company actively carried out the construction of digital power supply stations and implemented grid service and data system management so as to provide customers with more refined power supply services.
Besides, State Grid Shandong Electric Power deploys various unmanned aerial vehicles for inspection of power transmission and distribution equipment and photovoltaic grid-connected projects, which greatly improves work efficiency and reduces hidden risks.
