Technical plan of China-aided rural e-commerce project in Laos inked

Abstract : The signing ceremony for the technical assistance plan of the China-aided Lao Rural E-commerce Project has been held here in Lao Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

VIENTIANE, April 26 (Xinhua) -- The signing ceremony for the technical assistance plan of the China-aided Lao Rural E-commerce Project has been held here in Lao Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

Chinese Ambassador to Laos Jiang Zaidong and Khampheng Xaysompheng, Lao Minister of Ministry of Industry and Commerce, attended the ceremony held on Monday.

Zhao Jun, the chairman of the project contractor, Anhui Easy Business Digital Technology Co., Ltd., said by the online conference that it will strictly implement the requirements of the management departments of China and Laos, complete the task with high quality on time, and contribute to the friendship and joint development of China and Laos.

The contractor told Xinhua Tuesday that the project, based on the successful experiences of China's rural e-commerce system, adheres to the principle of "guided by the government, operated by the enterprise and abiding by market rules," to build an e-commerce platform for Lao agricultural products, create a rural e-commerce development model that meets the needs of Laos, promote the export of Lao produce, help Lao farmers increase income and improve the livelihood of the Lao people.

The project will promote the concepts, standards and systems of "Chinese e-commerce", "Chinese technology" and "Chinese service" in Laos, as to deepen the bilateral pragmatic cooperation and interconnection between China and Laos in e-commerce and standardization.
