BEIJING, April 14 (Xinhua) -- The Harbin Area of China (Heilongjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone (Heilongjiang FTZ) in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province held a ceremony on Monday celebrating the establishment of a business alliance of enterprises engaged in trade with Russia.

50 companies in the area attended the event online. The establishment of the alliance will promote information sharing and cooperation development among companies in the area, leading to new breakthroughs in the area's foreign trade development with Russia, according to a local enterprise.

It is said that the alliance is initiated by relevant enterprises in the area. At the same time, the Harbin Area of Heilongjiang FTZ has taken active measures to support the alliance. By setting up a coordination council, the Harbin Area will provide companies with guidance in policy consultation, financial support and legal service, helping them solve the issues appeared in foreign trade practice.

The customs sector will also give full support to the construction of the Harbin area, making continuous efforts to facilitate cross-border trade and support high-quality development of foreign trade firms, according to an official with the customs office of Bingcheng, under Harbin customs.
