BEIJING, April 2 (Xinhua) -- The China (Chongqing) Pilot Free Trade Zone (Chongqing FTZ) in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality vowed to explore a negative list management development model in the field of cross-border trade in services to promote a higher level of opening-up, according to the municipal commission of commerce.
According to Li Jing, vice president of Chongqing Technology and Business University (CTBU), the negative list management model will help further promote market vitality as well as strengthen higher level of opening-up.
The Chongqing FTZ has made remarkable achievements since it was established on April 2017. For example, it has achieved a number of best institutional innovation practice cases that can be replicated and promoted, the municipal commission of commerce said.
In the future, the Chongqing FTZ will continue to deepen various cooperation under the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity project, and carry out international "Single Window" trade interconnection with the Belt and Road (B&R) countries.
