BEIJING, March 7 (Xinhua) -- South China's Hainan Province plans to invest 125 billion yuan in the construction of 669 industrial projects in 2022, aiming to promote development of tourism, modern service and high-tech sectors as well as high-efficiency agriculture with tropical characteristics, according to an industrial investment promotion action plan for 2022 recently formulated by the Hainan provincial development and reform commission.
In breakdown, this year, the southern island province will invest 24 billion yuan in developing 144 tourism projects, 46 billion yuan in 229 modern service industry projects, 49 billion yuan in 220 high-tech industry projects and six billion yuan in 76 high-efficiency agricultural projects with tropical characteristics.
In order to ensure the fulfillment of the industrial investment target for 2022, Hainan will strengthen precise investment attraction, factor guarantee, incentive support and project supervision, according to an official with the provincial development and reform commission.
