HONG KONG, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks once fell as low as 774 points, or 3.2 percent to 23,396 points during the morning session on Tuesday.
Due to geopolitical tensions, Hang Seng index lost 477 points to open at 23,692 points, and once fell as many as 774 points on Tuesday morning. Hang Seng TECH Index lost over 2 percent. Alibaba plunged more than 5 percent, and Tencent fell over 2 percent.
