BEIJING, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- China's investment in property development rose 4.4 percent year on year in 2021, data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed Monday.
Last year, the property investment stood at around 14.76 trillion yuan (about 2.32 trillion U.S. dollars), NBS data showed.
Compared with the same period in 2019, property investment climbed 11.7 percent, putting the two-year average at 5.7 percent, NBS data showed.
Investment in residential buildings went up 6.4 percent from 2020 to nearly 11.12 trillion yuan in 2021.
