The meal-kit mail order company HelloFresh wants to buy back its own shares up to a value of 250 million euros (283 million dollars), the company announced in Berlin on Monday.
This corresponds to about 2.4 percent of the current market capitalization.
A first tranche of up to 125 million euros is to be purchased this Tuesday, the second half later in the year.
Purchased shares are to be cancelled or used for the company's employee participation programmes.
HelloFresh was founded in Berlin in 2011 and now operates in 14 countries.
