BEIJING, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Seven ports in China, namely Shanghai Port, Zhoushan port, Qingdao port, Tianjin port, Hong Kong port, Shenzhen port and Guangzhou port, have been basically on a par with world-class port level, according to the report on comprehensive evaluation of world-class ports (2021) unveiled at the 2021 North Bund Forum on Thursday.

The report has been jointly compiled by China Economic Information Service and China Waterborne Transport Research Institute.
The individual indicators and comprehensive scores of 29 global ports in 2020 have been calculated.
According to the preliminary analysis, 10 ports in Asia, 3 ports in Europe and 2 ports in North America have been equipped with features of world-class ports at current stage, among which ports of Singapore and Shanghai rank the top globally based on scores.
