BEIJING, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- The 2021 World New Energy Vehicle Congress (WNEVC) kicked off on Wednesday in Haikou, capital of south China's Hainan Province, the Shanghai Securities News reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, the congress gathered more than 1,000 experts and industry leaders from home and abroad to share insights into the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry and related technologies .
Themed on "Comprehensively Promoting Marketization, Accelerating Cross-Industry Integration, Jointly Achieving Carbon Neutrality," the three-day event features 20 conferences and forums, technology exhibitions, and concurrent events.
The first session of WNEVC was held in July 2019 in Hainan's Bo'ao, with more than 1,500 entrepreneurs, experts, scholars, and government representatives, as well as over 100 NEV-related enterprises across the world in attendance.(Edited by Yang Yifan with Xinhua Silk Road, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
