BEIJING, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- Companies from all over the world are actively signing up for the fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE), the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News reported on Wednesday.
According to the CIIE bureau, more than 20 enterprises have already registered for the fifth CIIE and about seven domestic and foreign companies inked long-term cooperation agreements with the organizer.
The next year's expo will be still divided into six sections to display food and agricultural products, automobiles, technical equipment, consumer goods, medical devices and healthcare products, as well as trade in services.
The CIIE is the first dedicated import exhibition in the world and has seen fruitful outcomes. The fifth CIIE will take place in Shanghai from November 5 to 10 next year. (Edited by Yang Yifan with Xinhua Silk Road, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
