BEIJING, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) -- The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the central bank of Hungary (MNB) to carry out cooperation in securities and futures supervision, the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News reported Saturday.
The MOU signed is of great significance for further strengthening the regulatory and supervision exchanges and cooperation in the securities and futures field and promoting the healthy development of the capital markets of the two countries, marking that the cooperation between the two countries' supervision departments has entered a new stage.
Up to now, CSRC has successively signed bilateral supervision cooperation agreements with securities and futures supervision departments in 67 countries and regions, and established a cross-border regulatory and law enforcement cooperation mechanism.
