MILAN, Aug. 4 (Class Editori) -- Cairo Communication grew in the second quarter of the year with increased revenues and margins. As for the half-year report, Urbano Cairo's Group recorded a 585.3-million-euro worth turnover (+27% y-o-y) and an EBITDA amounting to 80.7 million compared to the 11.6-million one of the same period of 2020, while the EBIT recovered from the negative trend of the first half of the former fiscal year by reaching 43.9 million. Moreover, the company recorded a 24.5 million profit. As concerns its financial position, Cairo Communication more than halved its debt at the end of 2020 to 30.3 million.
"Cairo Communication Group's half-year report shows important growth results for revenues and margins," as explained by Urbano Cairo, Chairman and CEO of Cairo Communication, who added to be "particularly satisfied with the further reduction in net financial debt". On the Italian Stock Exchange of Milan, the company's share closed down 0.75% at 1.59 euros. The price shows a 39% decrease compared to the target price of 2.6 euros set by Equita SIM, which confirmed the buy rating. (All rights reserved)
