BEIJING, July 22 (Xinhua) -- Northeast China's Liaoning Province has issued an action plan to promote the integration of manufacturing industry with digital technology and form reproducible and marketable application scenarios by 2023.
About 43 percent of industrial enterprises with main business revenue of 20 million yuan and above should achieve full digitalization for their key business processes by 2023, of which 56 percent be connected to industrial internet, with the penetration rate of digital R&D design tools reaching 84 percent, according to the plan.
As China's major equipment manufacturing base, Liaoning will mainly work on the digital transformation of equipment enterprises such as CNC machine tools, automobiles, ships and marine engineering equipment, aerospace related enterprises, among others.
