BEIJING, July 6 (Xinhua) -- China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has newly identified 105 national bases for foreign trade transformation and upgrading, according to the official website of MOC recently.

Up to now, a total of 578 national bases for foreign trade transformation and upgrading have been established in China, covering eight major industries including electrical & mechanical products, agricultural products, light industrial crafts, textiles and clothing, medicine, new materials, professional chemicals, hardware and building materials.

It is learned that as an important platform for integration of industry and trade, the base for foreign trade transformation and upgrading has become an important tool for promoting high-quality trade development, and has played an active role in promoting the innovative development of local foreign trade, optimizing and stabilizing the industrial chain and supply chain.
