BEIJING, June 21 (Xinhua) -- Tektronix attaches great importance to the important local market in China, said Song Lei, sales director of complementary channel product of Tektronix recently.
Song made the remarks at the 2021 Tektronix Innovation Forum (TIF 2021), which was held from June 16 to 18 in Beijing, adding that focusing on industrial upgrading, new infrastructure, carbon neutrality and green energy, Tektronix has made efforts in the entire industrial chain including materials research, application design and maintenance, and is committed to providing Chinese customers with customized solutions.
With the theme of "breaking technical bottleneck, innovating technical engine, enabling industrial upgrade", TIF 2021 focused on the local market and the comprehensive digital transformation, and shared latest industry trends and the state-of-art test solutions.
During the forum, Tami Newcombe, president of Tektronix, delivered a speech online, reviewing the development history of Tektronix since its establishment 75 years ago, and sharing various challenges and development opportunities in the post-epidemic era for the company and the industry.
In addition to announcing localized strategy in China, Tektronix showed test solutions with Chinese characteristics, including presentation of new electrical electronics test platform, dynamic test system on third generation of power devices, PCIE5 and USB4.0 high-speed bus testing, new computing architecture and meuron memristor characterization test, wide band-gap semiconductor solutions and etc.
At present, Tektronix has cooperated with many universities in China to build joint laboratories. On June 18, Tektronix and Xidian University jointly launched a course on microelectronics experiment, discussing a new microelectronics teaching mode and experiencing immersive online course in live course in innovation lab.
