BEIJING, June 17 (Xinhua) -- Romantic movie "Man in Love" led the Chinese box office chart on Wednesday, according to the China Movie Data Information Network.
Starring Roy Chiu and Wei-Ning Hsu, the movie pocketed 8.16 million yuan (about 1.27 million U.S. dollars) on Wednesday, its sixth day of screening.
The movie tells the romance between an uneducated man who asks for payment of debt for a living and the daughter of his creditor.
Domestic sports comedy "Never Stop" came in second, raking in nearly 6.33 million yuan.
Chinese comedy "Sunny Sisters" ranked third on the daily chart, grossing more than 4.59 million yuan. Enditem
