BEIJING, April 26 (Xinhua) -- The 2021 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) International Investment and Trade Expo & SCO Qingdao Forum on Local Economic and Trade Cooperation kicked off in the east China port city of Qingdao on Monday.
The expo, which will last for three days, attracted exhibitors from over 30 countries, with the goods and service products from more than 1,500 companies displayed both online and offline.
China-SCO local economic and trade cooperation demonstration zone saw a total of 20 projects signed online and offline, involving a total investment of 66.8 billion yuan and covering various fields such as trade and logistics, new energy, high-end manufacturing, culture and tourism, as well as biomedicine.
The expo also set up an exhibition area of 21,000 square meters, including 18 national image display areas for SCO, key industry achievements from member states, products from key enterprises, and the display of products from various industries.
China's General Administration of Customs also released China's trade index with the member states of SCO at the opening ceremony.
