BEIJING, March 27 (Xinhua) -- China's logistics sector reported steady growth in the first two months of this year, an industry report showed.
Social logistics rose 32.4 percent year on year in the January to February period to 44.7 trillion yuan (about 6.84 trillion U.S. dollars), according to the report released by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.
The rapid growth can be attributed to a low base last year owing to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the report noted.
The total revenue of the logistics industry rose 44.9 percent year on year to 1.4 trillion yuan during the period.
