BEIJING, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) – The Report on Power of Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains- International and China's Approaches to Construction of Beautiful Countryside was released at the 2020 "Belt and Road”Beautiful Countryside Forum held on Longnan City, northwest China's Gansu Province, on Wednesday .
The reported, jointly compiled by Research Center for Rural Economy of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affair, the Gansu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and China Economic Information Service (CEIS), is dedicated to providing useful references for learning from and exchanging the successful practice and advanced experience home and abroad in the construction of beautiful countrysides.
It is learned that the report on the one hand summarizes the construction effects and development models of the beautiful rural construction in Japan, the Public of Korea, Germany and etc, while on the other hand, it analyzes the patterns and characteristics of China's successful practice and puts forward valuable suggestions aimed at boosting the cooperation between China and the Belt and Road countries in the construction of beautiful villages .
The report also proposes that to deepen cooperation in the construction of beautiful countrysides, efforts should be made to improve the cooperation mechanism, create a cultural tourism cooperation and exchange platform in the Belt and Road countries, bring forth new cooperation models, and promote in-depth collaboration and exchanges in agricultural and cultural tourism programs between China and related countries .
Jin Wencheng, director general of the Research Center for Rural Economy of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affair, said that the Belt and Road countries could take advantage of the cooperation mechanism of beautiful rural construction to play a bigger role in the cooperation framework of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
