SHANGHAI, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- A special section featuring integrated circuits will be rolled out for the first time in the fourth edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE), according to the organizer.
Located in the Intelligent Industry & Information Technology exhibition area of the next CIIE, the new section will further improve the exhibition quality of the fourth CIIE and help build an integrated circuit industrial chain ecology, according to Liu Fuxue, vice director of the CIIE Bureau during a promotion session for the fourth CIIE Wednesday in Shanghai.
Over 300 companies from over 30 countries and regions attended the Intelligent Industry & Information Technology exhibition area of the third CIIE, debuting over 100 new products, services and technologies.
Hundreds of enterprises have signed up to participate in the fourth CIIE.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the third CIIE, which took place this November in Shanghai, saw 72.62 billion U.S. dollars' worth of deals reached for intended one-year purchases of goods and services, up 2.1 percent from the last expo. Enditem
