BEIJING, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- China-ASEAN financial information platform has recently launched the English version to facilitate building south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region into a financial opening-up portal towards the ASEAN, reported by Xinhua Finance, a financial information platform run by Xinhua News Agency.
As a comprehensive China-ASEAN service platform, the China-ASEAN financial information platform was co-built by CEIS, Guangxi's local financial regulatory bureau and big data development bureau and the Nanning city government. It takes the economic and trade exchanges between China and ASEAN as the core services and provides specialized information services including news, data, market information, analysis and consultancy.
Guangxi was approved by China's State Council in December 2018 to construct a financial opening-up portal facing ASEAN, in an effort to promote shaping of a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future.
Debuted shortly after the signing of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), the English language platform serves as a key program of the China-ASEAN information harbor. It is expected to further improve the market transparency and utilization efficiency of economic information within the ASEAN.
Previously in September 2019, the Chinese version of China-ASEAN financial information platform has been put online on basis of products and services of Xinhua Finance, a financial information platform of China Economic Information Service (CEIS) run by Xinhua News Agency. In October 2020, Xinhua Finance foreign exchange information service system was first rolled out in Guangxi.
