BEIJING, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) – China's A-share market hailed quarterly financial results releasing by 1,133 listed firms by Tuesday, reported securities news portal cls.cn Wednesday.
Among them, 63 percent or 710 listed firms reported better-than-semiannual growth in their net profits or narrowed losses for the first three quarters of this year.
About 60 percent or 683 companies saw their net profits from January to September rise year on year.
Another 110 A-share listed firms returned to positive growth in their net profits in the first nine months of this year, after posting decrease in net profits in the first half of 2020.
Companies with encouraging quarterly financial performances are mostly engaged in bio-pharmacy, machinery and equipment, chemical, electronics, electrical equipment, and automobile sectors. (Edited by Duan Jing with Xinhua Silk Road, duanjing@xinhua.org)
