BEIJING, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- China Securities Co. Ltd., one of the country's leading brokerages, almost doubled its profits during the first three quarters of the year.
Net profits attributable to shareholders of listed companies hit 7.49 billion yuan (about 1.12 billion U.S. dollars) from January to September, up by 96.11 percent year on year, according to a statement filed to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Revenues reached 15.86 billion yuan, soaring by 63.55 percent from the same period last year.
Earnings per share were 0.94 yuan.
The company's total assets amounted to 353.8 billion yuan at the end of September, up from 285.7 billion yuan at the end of 2019. Enditem
