BEIJING, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- The second batch of projects in Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) were recently launched with a total investment of 11.07 billion yuan, reported Yunnan Daily on Saturday.
The 15 projects involved five categories including emerging industries, ecological and environmental protection, infrastructure, people's livelihood and urban renewal and transformation.
Specifically, the projects launched this time include four emerging industry projects such as the energy-saving and environmental protection light commercial vehicle gasoline engine industrialization project, and two infrastructure projects which are Kunming Economic and Technological Development Zone road construction project and highway tunnel engineering project.
In addition, two ecological and environmental protection projects, two people's livelihood projects, and five urban renewal and transformation projects are also involved.
Since the Kunming Area of Yunnan FTZ set up on August 30 last year, a total of 13,052 new enterprises have been established, covering industries such as warehousing and logistics, biology, information, new energy technology, software information services, finance, wholesale and retail.
