BEIJING, July 16 (Xinhua) -- China will select and support key projects jointly initiated by China and the countries and regions along the Belt and Road in cultural industry and tourism industry, according to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Cooperation in the digital tourism industry, creative design, performing arts, as well as culture and tourism investment will be encouraged, said the ministry.
China will build international cooperation service platforms for the cultural tourism industry and strengthen the cultivation of talents in the field of international tourism.
The selected projects will be incorporated into the industrial public service platform of the ministry.
It will take the enterprises related to the projects as the key contact enterprises for tourism international cooperation, and provide support in investment, financing, platform building and other aspects. (Edited by Yang Qi with Xinhua Silk Road, kateqiyang@xinhua.org)
