MILAN, June 18 (Class Editori) -- Unindustria Reggio Emilia under the leadership of Fabio Storchi, president of Vimi Fasteners, together with Confindustria Emilia-Romagna and the Emilia Romagna Region, has activated the We Digital in China project which offers concrete and immediate answers for a rapid recovery of business in China and in foreign markets, supporting the presence of local businesses on the main world marketplaces, WeChat and Alibaba.
In addition to the possibility of opening an account in a collective store on WeChat to encourage business towards the end customer, it is now possible to have your own showcase with your own product catalog on Alibaba to build and strengthen the structured presence of your company in the global market, through the brand "Emilia Romagna GO DIGITAL".
The project, also carried out with the collaboration of the University of Modena and Reggio as well as SellintoChina, is to open a store on the Italian Life Style marketplace within WeChat, a digital platform that boasts a billion accounts worldwide and a goods exchange for 600 billion.
"The Sistema Emilia-Romagna aims at making the presence of its companies on Alibaba increasingly large, the largest platform worldwide with over 18 million active buyers from all over the world, which is a tool that allows us to promote our excellence and to generate qualified contacts to establish long-lasting commercial partnerships," explained Fausto Mazzali, vice president of Unindustria with responsibility for internationalization and CEO of 76 Industrial Graphics Evolution, a graphics services company for the company, with a factory in Pune in India.
"The project, in addition to the regional contribution that would allow the participation fee to be reduced by almost 50 percent, guarantees a systematic action with the intermediation of Confindustria and the support of Italiaonline, a qualified partner accredited by Alibaba, to manage the access and management of your account with additional services to make your presence more strategic," said Mazzali. "9.8 percent of Reggio Emilia products are exported to the East, 2.5 percent of which to China. That's why we want to give new tools and vehicles to companies to reach those countries".
Unindustria Reggio Emilia represents about 1,000 companies in the province that employ 47,000 employees. It was founded in 2013, from the merger of the Industrial Association of the Province of Reggio Emilia and PMI Reggio Emilia.
System companies have grown and are structured in different areas: Assoservizi, Cis School for business management, Check-Up Service, REILab and the Renergy consortium offering additional integrated services to complete the range of opportunities and options for entrepreneurs.
Unindustria Reggio Emilia is part of the Club of 15, the network of the provincial associations of Confindustria where the incidence of manufacturing in the formation of GDP is higher.
Silvia Margaria, Head of the Internationalization Area of Unindustria Reggio Emilia, organized a meeting to present the "China project" to member companies on the occasion of the presence in Italy of Gianluca D'Agnolo, of the Chiomenti Shanghai Law Firm, an experienced lawyer of China and Lorenzo Riccardi, tax consultant for Studio RSA Tax Shanghai.
The adhesion of companies to the "China project" remains high as evidenced by the interest and activity on WeChat, the Chinese platform owned by Tencent, which has reached one billion accounts worldwide with an exchange of goods for € 600 billion.
The free app expands beyond the borders of the People's Republic of China. The peak increase in the number of registrations comes from Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States of America, although the vast majority of users are located in China.
Unindustria Reggio Emilia has obtained a non-repayable loan from the Region of 80,000 euros to help businesses in digitization in order to improve e-commerce and sell online in China or in the Eastern markets.
