BEIJING, June 2 (Xinhua) -- A power transmission and transformation project in Qionghai of Hainan Province started delivering power on Sunday, marking the first project of main grid since the resumption of production in Hainan.
The project, with a total investment of 62.73 million yuan and a capacity of 110 kilowatts, will meet the power growth needs of the northwestern area of Qionghai and optimize local power grid.
Meanwhile, the project is one of the 23 infrastructure projects that will have greater impact on power supply of Hainan this year and will effectively relieve the overload problem.
