BEIJING, May 20 (Xinhua) -- China's leading search engine and AI tech firm Baidu reported robust net profit growth in the first quarter of this year.
The company's non-GAAP net profit jumped 219 percent year on year to 3.1 billion yuan in the first quarter of this year, according to the unaudited financial report released by the company on Tuesday.
During the period, the company saw its total revenue reach 22.5 billion yuan.
Data showed that Baidu App's average daily active users amounted to 222 million in March, up 28 percent year on year.
