BEIJING, April 20 (Xinhua) -- China's Ministry of Commerce, the Cyberspace Administration of China and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently released the first 12 national digital service export bases, with ZPark being the only one in Beijing on the list.
ZPark, located in Zhongguancun Science Park in Haidian District of Beijing, covering an area of about 2.6 square kilometers. As the only high-tech industrial park with national software industry base and national software export base in the city, it gathers the headquarters and global R&D centers of more than 600 well-known IT enterprises at home and abroad, such as Lenovo, Baidu, Tencent, SINA, DiDi and IBM.
In 2019, the total output value of enterprises in ZPark reached 286.98 billion yuan, and the output value of each square kilometer exceeded 100 billion yuan.
In recent years, Weibo, kuaishou, Baidu and other software information services have gone abroad and become the favorite software products of global users. The artificial intelligence platforms of Baidu and Tencent, voice recognition technology of iFLYTEK and SinoVoice, Hanwang Technology's face recognition technology, Inspur's intelligent hardware have been in the world's leading position.
At present, the wide application of digital technology has played an important role in the fight against COVID-19 globally. New business models such as working at home, online education, online contract signing and 5G are booming.
Building a national digital service export base is conducive to accelerating the development of digital trade and the application of digital technology, fostering new forms of trade, and realizing high-quality development of service trade.
