MILAN, Apr. 15 (Class Editori) - A virtual roadshow in Asia and Australia. Until June 15, 2020, fifteen companies listed on the Borsa Italiana Telematic Stock Exchange will virtually meet Asian and Australian institutional investors in a series of bilateral or small groups. Meetings where recent quarterly results and future strategies will be illustrated. The companies represent the main sectors of the Italian economy: from lifestyle to industrial companies, from utility companies and infrastructures to financial services companies.

The companies participating at the initiative are: Azimut Holding, Banca Mediolanum, Campari, Cerved, Enav, Ferrari, IGD-SIIQ, IMA, Interpump Group, Intesa Sanpaolo, Iren, Rai Way, Snam, Technogym, Telecom Italia.

To date, over 40 investors representing 30 investment firms have already booked over 60 virtual meetings. The booking of the meetings will continue in the coming weeks in line with the temporal extension of the roadshow.

The digital performance of the roadshow will involve a wider investor base, allowing companies to be able to present their equity stories to investors present throughout the geographical area. To date, we have registered the requests of investors based in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan.

“The Italian Equity Roadshow of Borsa Italiana represents a traditional event that is renewed every year to promote investment in the Italian stock market among the international financial community and enhance the entrepreneurial excellence of our country. The stage dedicated to Asia and Australia has the aim of consolidating the relationship with investors who have already looked to our country for several years and, at the same time, developing new relationships with investors who are more and more interested in the securities listed on our market", underlines Patrizia Celia, Head of Large Caps, Investment Vehicles & Market Intelligence of Borsa Italiana. At the beginning of the year, there were over 100 Asian and Australian investment firms with positions in FTSE MIB securities through over 200 local funds.

"The digitalization of the roadshow, which historically saw us visiting the most important investors in the Asia Pacific region, has allowed us to broaden our range of action, extending the scouting to investors from new countries, and to fuel the dialogue with investors who they have been following our roadshows for some time, creating opportunities for discussion even in a complex moment like the present one," he added.  The Virtual Italian Equity Roadshow Asia and Australia is organized in collaboration with Bank of America Securities.
