BEIJING, May 12 (Xinhua) -- The Xiongan New Area in north China's Hebei Province recently released the framework of a standard system for smart city construction, as well as the first batch of development standards, reported the Xinhua-run Xinhua Finance recently.
The framework centers on three categories, including infrastructure and perception system construction, intelligent application, and information security.
The standards mainly include eight guidelines concerning with the construction on Internet of Things (IoT), 5G communications, building communications, as well as data.
The standards can standardize the construction of the Xiongan New Area further under its development plan, according to Wu Hequan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, adding that they provide a necessary guarantee for ensuring the simultaneous planning and construction of the smart city in Xiongan.
