SHIJIAZHUANG, May 9 (Xinhua) -- Chinese carmaker Great Wall Motor saw further month-on-month sales rebound in April as China's auto market recovered from the COVID-19 epidemic.
The leading sport utility vehicle (SUV) and pickup maker said in a filing to the Shanghai Stock Exchange that it sold 80,828 vehicles last month, down 3.6 percent year on year but up 34.6 percent month on month.
In March, its sales surged 499 percent month on month to 60,048 units as the epidemic waned.
Its sales for the January-April period totalled 231,160 units, an annual decrease of 37.1 percent, the carmaker said. Enditem
