Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area announces measures to boost business environment

Abstract : The Administration of the Lin-gang Special Area, a new area of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) established several months ago, decided on May 6 to take a total of 19 measures to further facilitate the business environment in the area, reported the Xinhua-run cnstock.com Thursday.

BEIJING, May 8 (Xinhua) – The Administration of the Lin-gang Special Area, a new area of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) established several months ago,  decided on May 6 to take a total of 19 measures to further facilitate the business environment in the area, reported the Xinhua-run cnstock.com Thursday.

These measures center on supporting construction of facilities ensuring people's livelihood, affiliated business facilities of shopping street, community and park, and regional shopping center, settlement of high-quality and new mode businesses, building of commercial environment, optimization of business environment, and location of high-end business people and key projects as well. 

For projects for upgrading and rebuilding the regional shopping center that meet requirements on business time and operating rate, financial support  will be offered according to no more than 30 percent of the total investment of the project, and the maximum amount of assistance may not exceed 20 million yuan.

Meanwhile, appropriate fiscal aid of 50 million yuan at maximum will be granted to the project of the new regional business center, which shall not exceed 30 percent of the actual investment of the project.

Lin-gang area will subsidize a maximum of two million yuan for domestic and foreign well-know commercial brands such as Michelin restaurants, that settle in the area with a lease term of no less than five years.

In addition, a financial subsidy up to one million yuan will be given to domestic and foreign businesses that serve as exclusive stores or flagship stores (Edited by Jiang Feifan with Xinhua Silk Road, 346129473@qq.com)
