InfoQuest, (April 30, 2020) -- According to the spokesman of Bangkok government, Bangkok Commission on Infectious Diseases has approved the public health measures for the unsealing of eight categories of venues. The measure aims to get prepared beforehand. The specific data of unsealing will be announced after the Centre for Resolution of Emergency Situation (CRES) announces the overall framework, aiming to ensure consistency.
In regard to the ban on the sales of alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, which is due to expire on April 30, whether it will be extended or not will be determined by the decision of the CRES.
Bangkok government has decided to extend the closure order for high-risk venues (especially bars), which will expire on April 30, to May 31, 2020.
In regard to the unsealing of shopping centers, the spokesman said that such an issue will be deliberated on the next stage, when more venues will be unsealed. Scholars and experts believe that there have been cases where people get infected because they have used services in shopping centers.
