China (Yunnan) Pilot FTZ launches online live streaming of investment promotion event

Abstract : China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) in southwest China's Yunnan Province launched an investment promotion event online recently, giving investors a chance to join the FTZ wherever they are, according to a report by Yunnan Daily.

BEIJNG, April 28 (Xinhua) -- China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) in southwest China's Yunnan Province launched an investment promotion event online recently, giving investors a chance to join the FTZ wherever they are, according to a report by Yunnan Daily.

The event was hosted by Department of Commerce of Yunnan Province, undertaken by the office of leading group of the China (Yunnan) Pilot FTZ and Yunnan Academy of Commerce, and co-organized by  administrative committees of the FTZ's Kunming, Honghe, Dehong areas and the Yunnan International Trade Association.

The live streaming of the event held on April 26 was a special for the Kunming Area of the FTZ,  attracting more than 270,000 viewers.

During the live streaming, officials in charge of related investment promotion agencies introduced the FTZ's investment environment, development advantages, measures on serving enterprises and financial policies, and its key projects for investment, such as high-end equipment manufacturing, aviation logistics industrial park. 

The special events for Honghe and Dehong areas of the Yunnan FTZ were held on April 27 and April 28 respectively, focusing on the detailed procedures and contents including business handling and enterprise settlement.  (Edited by Gao Jingyan with Xinhua Silk Road, gaojingyan@xinhua.org)
