BEIJING, April 22 (Xinhua) -- All the 2,130 ongoing projects above the designated size in Beijing had already resumed construction, with on-site workers exceeding 400,000 as of Tuesday, the Information Office of Beijing Municipality said in a press conference held on the day.
Wang Xin, a second-level inspector of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, said that a service hotline has been opened in order to provide "one-to-one" service guidance to enterprises that are encountered with difficulties in epidemic prevention materials, building materials, transportation for migrant workers returning to work and construction waste disposal.
By far, nearly 3,000 problems regarding migrant workers' returning to Beijing and construction material supply have been answered via the hotline. Another 176 problems about project costs have been responded as well. (Edited by Zhang Yuan with Xinhua Silk Road, zhangyuan11@xinhua.org)
