BEIJING, April 21 (Xinhua) -- Beijing will reimburse medium, small and micro-sized enterprises with no or fewer layoffs all the unemployment insurance premiums they paid last year, said He Rui, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau on Monday.
Other enterprises can get back 50 percent of the unemployment insurance premiums they paid last year, according to He.
The Beijing Municipal Government has recently introduced a slew of measures to help medium, small and micro-sized enterprises tide over difficulties. For those that face temporary difficulties and are expected to recover, Beijing will refund them according to a standard of 9,906 yuan per person.
Statistics showed that Beijing has reduced 10.9 billion yuan of social insurance for various kinds of enterprises in February, of which 9.2 billion yuan has been lifted for medium, small and micro-sized enterprises. (Edited by Zhang Yuan with Xinhua Silk Road, zhangyuan11@xinhua.org)
