BEIJING, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) -- Central China's Hunan Province has recently issued a three-year action plan to promote development of the new-type display device industry chain, according to the local newspaper on Monday.
The province aims to achieve more than 150 billion yuan (about 21.5 billion U.S. dollars) in the scale of the new-type display device industry chain by 2022, according to the plan for the period from 2020 to 2022 released by the Industry and Information Technology Department of Hunan Province.
It strives to have more than 100 new-type display device enterprises each with a main business revenue of 20 million yuan a year or more.
It supports the leading global new-type display device enterprises to set up research institutions, regional headquarters, innovation centers, and incubation bases in Hunan, said the plan.
Meanwhile, Hunan will also give priority to the leading talents and teams in the industry at home and abroad, in terms of the introduction of incentives, tax incentives, housing subsidies, and family relocation, according to the plan. (Edited by Hu Pingchao, hupingchao@xinhua.org)
