MILAN, Feb. 13 (Class Editori) -- Italian lifts to reach the Acropolis of Athens. With the aim of improving the infrastructures of the archeological site, Fondazione Onassis has chosen Maspero for the installation of a made in Italy lift. The inclined panoramic lift will be specifically designed by the company based in Como, specialized in design, creation and maintenance of special elevator systems for both people and goods. The company relies on 110 employees, 5 commercial branches in Italy, 6 branches abroad and 11 strategic partnerships worldwide.

The inclined lift - which will link Peripatos and Eretto, on the Northern side of the Acropolis, in less than one minute – will have a capacity of 1,350 kilos and will be able to transport 18 people (2 pushchairs with accompanying adults). In case of emergency, also a stretcher can be carried on the elevator. Thanks to the glass lift car, passengers can enjoy a spectacular view. The change in inclination will rise from 38° to 78°.
The lift will be put into service within May 2020. The inclined lift has already been designed and it is now being created at the factories of Maspero Elevatori in Appiano Gentile; it will be then transported and installed in Athens.
The supply of the inclined lift by Maspero Elevatori provides for the design and construction of the work, as well as the installation and maintenance with a 6-year warranty, spare parts included.
