BEIJING, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- China's railway cargo transport increased in January over the previous month, official data showed.
About 360 million tonnes of cargo was delivered via railway last month, up from some 323 million tonnes registered in December, according to the China State Railway Group Co., Ltd.
Transport of coal for power production remained robust last month, the company said.
China's railways are fast-tracking transport for daily necessities and products for epidemic control, while targeted transport plans are developed to help firms resume production.
