FUZHOU, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- A new air route was launched on Tuesday linking Fuzhou, capital city of east China's Fujian Province, and Sapporo in Japan.
The air route, operated by XiamenAir, a carrier mainly owned by China Southern Airlines, will fly on every Tuesday and Saturday, the airlines said.
The outbound flight will leave Fuzhou at 8:45 a.m. and arrives in Sapporo at 1:30 p.m. local time. The returning flight will depart from Sapporo at 2:30 p.m. local time and land in Fuzhou at 6:15 p.m..
Xiamenair has launched direct flights between Fuzhou and three Japanese cities including Tokyo, Osaka and Sapporo, and is planning to open the air route connecting Fuzhou and Fukuoka.
