Easy Export, the adhesion of SMEs to the Unicredit platform is growing

December 05, 2019

Abstract : In the package available for the bank's client companies, there is also from today the extension to the services of SaceSimest for insurance and debt collection, as well as the possibility of accessing Alibaba.com., the largest Chinese marketplace in the world.

MILAN, Nov. 2 (Class Editori) -- Direct access to Alibaba.com, the largest B2B marketplace in the world, with a presence in 190 countries worldwide and with over 160 million registered operators, is one of the advantages that UniCredit offers SMEs through the Easy Export service, a platform that the banking group is implementing by extending accessibility on favorable terms to small companies belonging to Confapi.

Andrea Casini, UniCredit's co-CEO commercial banking Italy, and Maurizio Casasco, president of Confapi, have today signed an agreement that will allow member companies of the Italian Small and Medium Business Confederation to access, on favorable terms, a package of services to high added value designed and offered exclusively by the Banking Group to simplify and encourage digital export of Italian SMEs.

Among these services there is also the possibility of a privileged access for the activities of providing credit and export insurance with Sace Simest the internationalization and export center of the CDP Group, with which, still today, Unicredit signed a further agreement.

The customers of UniCredit, who have signed an Easy Export contract, can rely on Sace Simest professionals and a network of 200 correspondents and local negotiators, spread all over the world, in order to have access also to the new foreign and recovery credit insurance services credits on international markets that will allow companies to have a faster and more qualified solution for managing their relations with international counterparts.

Thanks to Easy Export they can use internet banking and digital services to reach international customers through a customized, distinctive sales service provided in the customer's preferred language. An important opportunity since B2B e-commerce is expected to reach a worldwide turnover of 12 trillion dollars by 2020, with an average growth of 10% in the last 8 years.

In addition, with the support of an excellent partner such as the Var Group - player for digitization and IT processes, Unicredit Easy Export offers access to high value-added services ranging from the creation of a showcase dedicated to companies and their products, to support for the management of logistics practices, up to the assistance of a dedicated consultant. And, from today, also to the new specific credit recovery services on international markets and foreign credit insurance.

A little more than a year after the launch of the initiative, UniCredit Easy Export is having considerable success among Italian SMEs: today there are a thousand contracts signed with Italian companies that have seen their turnover increase abroad 24%, according to data released by the bank's management.
