In 2013, the list of "Top Ten Global Champagne and Wine Brands", published in April of 2014 by Brand Finance, a famous independent intangible asset valuation consultancy of UK, Changyu ranked fifth on the basis of its brand value of US$653 million, with a brand rating of AA standard.
In the list are three champagne brands, such as Moet, Veuve Clicquot, and Mumm, and other seven wine brands, which are Gallo Family, Beringer, and Robert Mon-davi of America; Jacob's Creek and Lindemans of Australia, Concha Y Toro of Chile and Changyu of China. Among their brand ratings, there are two brands under AAA standard, six under AA, and two under brands under A standard.
