JERUSALEM, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- The number of Chinese tourists who visited Israel from January to October grew by 40.6 percent year on year, said a report released by Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics on Wednesday.
A total of 129,800 Chinese tourists visited Israel in the 10 months, up from 92,300 in the same period in 2018, the report added.
However, the number of Chinese tourists visiting Israel in October was down 10.6 percent from a year ago.
A total of 3.74 million tourists visited Israel from January to October, an increase of 10 percent from 2018, according to the report.
The Israeli Ministry of Tourism said that since the beginning of 2019, Israel's total tourism revenue was estimated at 5.37 billion U.S. dollars.
