SHIJIAZHUANG, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- The 6th China International Logistics Development Conference was held Thursday in Shijiazhuang, capital of north China's Hebei Province.
The event attracted more than 1,500 experts and company representatives from over 70 countries and regions, who exchanged views on topics including logistics hub city construction, investment environment and China-Europe freight trains.
With the theme of interconnection, integration and coordinated development, the conference aimed to promote the exchange and cooperation between China and the international logistics industry, and the high-quality development of the industry, according to the organizer.
An international logistics and transportation industry expo was also held in the city at the same time, drawing more than 180 companies worldwide that cover logistics equipment, logistics information systems and solutions, and other parts of the industry.
