GUANGZHOU, Oct. 15 (Xinhua)— The 126th China Import and Export Fair, commonly known as the Canton Fair, opened on Tuesday in south China's Guangdong Province.
As a barometer of China’s foreign trade, the Canton Fair will attract purchasers from over 210 countries and regions, said Xu Bing, spokesman of the fair.
It is learned that a total of 25,642 domestic and foreign enterprises were expected to exhibit their products at more than 60,000 booths in the fair.
The fair highlights targeted markets represented by the Belt and Road countries and regions to accurately carry out global marketing promotion. (Edited by Yang Yifan, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
